Ancestral Temple of Mulan is located at Weiyuan Village, Xiege Sub-district Office, Qiaocheng District, Bozhou. At the south of the temple is the home of Hua Mulan, and at the north of the temple is the tomb of Mulan (Singe Grave in Weiyuan), which is now a key cultural relic unit under the protection of Qiaocheng District. Hua Mulan, born in Qiao (today's Bozhou) in the West Han Dynasty, with a family name of Wei and a given name of Mulan. When was the Ancestral Temple of Mulan in Bozhou built is still a mystery. When it was reconstructed during the reigning period of Emperor Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty, Zong Nengzheng, the governor of the prefecture composed a poem with the title of In Memory of the Reconstruction of Ancestral Temple of Mulan, which is as follows:

You are brave enough to join the army,

Coming up with tactics in your dress and hairpin.

You ignore the rewards,

But feel guilty for being unable to make contributions to the emperor.

You choose to be a valiant warrior,

Rather than an imperial concubine.

You change your name,

Killing enemies in the battles for 13 years.

You give up your needlework and put on armors.

Nobody identifies you as a girl during the expedition.

Numerous heroic men, both the past and the present,

Can’t rival you in the battle.

Women can be disguised as men for loyalty.

Who can tell why Mulan evades high positions and wealth?

Wandering along the grassland beside the temple,

One can recollect those arduous days.

 The existing Ancestral Temple of Mulan is situated between the home of Mulan and her tomb. In 1992, local government planted a white marble sculpture of "Mulan returning to her hometown" beside her tomb, and set up a stone tablet of Records on General Hua Mulan. Tourists have come here to look at the sculpture and stone tablet with reverence, which not only represent the heroic bearing of Mulan, but also embody the missing of the hometown people in the heroine.
