Wetland Conservation under Way

On February 2, at the Feihe River National Wetland Park in the north of Mengcheng County, Bozhou, workers were patrolling the protection status of the wetland with UAV. In the cold winter, the wetland conservation staff of the forestry department of Mengcheng County strengthened the patrol around the wetland ceaselessly and publicized the significance of wetland protection with various measures to involve more people into the wetland conservation and co-build a beautiful home. The Feihe River Wetland Park covers a total area of 1,367.14 hectares, of which the wetland covers 895.45 hectares, with a rate of wetland at 65.50%. In December 2016, the State Forestry Bureau approved it as a pilot national wetland park.
