On April 10, at the site of the first phase of the construction project of Guo River port in Mengcheng, workers and large machinery were busy with working. The first phase of the construction project mainly involves the construction of thirteen 500-ton general berths, warehouses, storage yards and other production and living supporting facilities. The designed annual throughput of the dock is 9.3 million tons, and the total investment of the project is 893 million yuan. At present, 30% of the total progress has been completed. After the completion of the project, the comparative advantages of Guo River water transport will be better utilized to promote the reduction of freight transport costs in the hinterlands and promote local economic and social development.
