Alibaba “Bozhou Pavilion” Runs Well and More Specialties Will Be Introduced

  Alibaba “Bozhou Specialty Pavilion” has gained sales revenue of more than RMB 4,500,000 since its launch on August 20. And a batch of famous local specialties including Mengcheng Beef, Woyang Dry Moss, Sweet and Sour Garlic, etc. are expected to enter this E-commerce platform in the near future.
  Alibaba “Bozhou Specialty Pavilion” is a new attempt of the People's Government of Bozhou City in guiding enterprises to “test” E-commerce. Currently, 32 enterprises have entered. It has run well and gained sales revenue of more than RMB 4,500,000 according to rough estimates since August 20, 2014 when it became the first prefectural food specialty pavilion in China on Alibaba.
  A few days ago, Bozhou City Agriculture Committee held a forum for the enterprises entering Alibaba “Bozhou Specialty Pavilion”, reported the construction situation of “Bozhou Pavilion” and sought opinions from enterprises participating the forum on development in the next stage. The reporter learned from the forum that Bozhou City Agriculture Committee is organizing the introduction of new enterprises; a batch of local Bozhou specialties including Mengcheng Beef, Woyang Dry Moss, Sweet and Sour Garlic, etc. are handling the procedures for entering as requested; and this new batch of specialties will conduct special sales promotions after entering so as to further expand the influence of Alibaba “Bozhou Pavilion” and assist Bozhou enterprises in expanding the online market.
  The relevant principal of Bozhou City Agriculture Committee said that establishing “Bozhou Pavilion” and realizing the online group sales of Bozhou agricultural products are useful attempts of Bozhou which plan for agriculture with innovative thinking, upgrade traditional agriculture with new technologies and serve agriculture with new measures. They are significant for promoting the development of food manufacturing and farming industry and the rise of modern agriculture in Bozhou.
  It is reported that Bozhou will, basing on the construction of “Bozhou Pavilion”, focus on the publicity of the platform and lead the enterprises in the pavilion. Meanwhile, it will strengthen the policy support, brand cultivation, ability enhancement, responsibility restriction and credibility building for the enterprises in the pavilion, strive to build a batch of famous brands, strengthen a batch of specialty industries, help a batch of agricultural enterprises through constructing an online sales platform, and turn “Bozhou Pavilion” into a “business card” of Bozhou, a “window” for showcasing its image, an everlasting “agricultural showroom” and a “new engine” promoting the rural economic development of Bozhou.
  In the forum, the first batch of enterprises entering the specialty pavilion also signed a commitment of honest operation jointly. They indicated that they will protect the reputation of “Bozhou Pavilion” together and shape a good image for Bozhou’s superior agricultural products.
