Bozhou Airport Officially Commences Operations

At around 10:28 a.m. on November 12, the highly anticipated first incoming flight to Bozhou, Donghai Airlines Flight DZ6223, arrived at Bozhou Airport from Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport. The aircraft slowly passed through the "water salute," a symbol of the highest courtesy in civil aviation, and smoothly taxied to its designated parking position. This marks the arrival of the first commercial flight at Bozhou Airport, signifying the official completion and commissioning of the airport.

Bozhou Airport is situated at the junction of Biaoli Town in Guoyang County and Lide Town in Qiaocheng District, Bozhou City. It is designated as a domestic regional airport, capable of handling an annual passenger throughput of 1 million, a cargo and mail throughput of 2,650 tons, and 6,404 aircraft take-offs and landings.

After the commencement of operations, Bozhou Airport will significantly enhance Bozhou's transportation location advantages. It will form an intermodal transportation system together with high-speed railways, highways, and waterways, shortening the travel time between Bozhou and major domestic cities. The airport will bring great convenience to both local residents and visiting business travelers, boosting Bozhou's regional appeal and urban functionality, and supporting the city's goal of becoming an "inter-provincial regional central city".
