The reconstruction of Guohe River Mengcheng hub project resumed

The other day, at the construction site of Guohe River Mengcheng hub project, the workers were working at the construction site of the regulating sluice.

The project resumed construction on February 16. The construction was unfolded gradually in a “jogging” fashion. A thorough resumption of construction is expected by the end of February.

The project is the largest water conservancy project under construction at Mengcheng County, which integrates the functions of flood prevention, drainage, catch-work irrigation and navigation. Commenced on December 8, 2018, the project receives a total investment of 1.459 billion RMB, scheduled to be completed in 36 months. The project mainly comprises regulating sluice, navigation lock and impact processing, along with the installation of movable board of navigation lock.
