Bozhou plans to create 35,000 mu of man-made afforestation this year

As the Tree Planting Festival is approaching, Party members and female volunteers of Niuji Town, Qiaocheng District, Bozhou arrived at Daquan Village to plant trees. In 2020, Bozhou planned to create 35,000 mu of afforestation. So far this year, 30,300 mu of afforestation has been created.

It’s reported that since 2013 Bozhou has managed to create three provincial-level forest cities, Mengcheng, Lixin and Qiaocheng, 50 provincial-level forest towns, 229 provincial forest villages. By the end of 2018, the city’s forest coverage had reached 19.68%.
