“contract farming” brings more profits to farmers

On June 11 in Wange Village, Shuanggou Town, Qiaocheng District of Bozhou City, villagers of Jinshi Planting Professional Cooperative are picking Xiangfei Hami melons in greenhouses to sell them to Guangzhou market. As various ripe melons come on the market, more than 100 acres of Xiangfei Hami melons planted by the Cooperative are ripe for sale. Villagers are engaged in picking, packaging and shipping to the market in a scene of bumper harvest.
In recent years, Bozhou City is in the process of enriching people with industries. The city also vigorously optimizes agricultural industry structure, leads villagers to develop the protected agriculture and adopt the cultivation mode of “Cooperative + Contract Farming” to assist villagers in realizing higher agricultural efficiency and profits.
