Bozhou City Commended by the State Council Again

In 2020, the shanty town renovation work of Bozhou made significant achievement and was commended and encouraged by the State Council.
Recently, the Office of the State Council issued circulars, and supervised and encouraged 216 places which did a good job and made significant achievement in implementing and stabilizing employment and securing people’s livelihood, fighting the three tough battles well, deepening “administration streamline and power delegation, power delegation and tightened oversight, service optimization”, reforming and optimizing business environment, promoting development driven by innovation, implementing rural revitalization strategy, and other relevant major policies in 2020, and Bozhou City was listed into “the cities which have been active and positive and made significant achievement in shanty town renovation and rural dangerous house renovation”.
In 2020, Bozhou City listed the shanty town renovation work into the annual objective management assessment of the county and district government and the municipal government’s key work, so as to guarantee the high efficiency progress of the shanty town renovation work. By 2020, Bozhou had started new construction for 30,200 sets of houses and completed the construction for 18,200 sets of houses basically, and completed investment about RMB15.782 billion cumulatively, with the investment completion amount ranking the 3rd in the province. Since 2010, the total investment for the shanty town renovation of Bozhou City has exceeded RMB85 billion, 244 projects and 226,000 sets of houses have started construction cumulatively, and about 27 million square meters of shanty town renovation has been completed, and more than 500,000 citizens “moved out from the shanty town and into the buildings”.
In recent years, Bozhou City exerted its responsibility sense as well positivity, initiative, creativity in entrepreneurship, was diligent in work and made significant achievement, and powerfully promoted the deployment and implementation of major decisions of the Party Central Committee and the State Council. It has been commended and encouraged by the Office of the State Council for many years consecutive. Bozhou City’s typical experience of powerfully promoting cost reduction and folk investment motivation was commended and encouraged in 2018. Bozhou City was commended and encouraged in 2019 for its promotion for the healthy development of the social investment, enterprise bond issuance, bond variety innovation and risk prevention.
