70 Major Projects in Bozhou Start Centralized Working

On the morning of April 7, the mobilization meeting for the second batch of major projects in Anhui Province in 2022 is held, and 70 projects are intensively started in Bozhou City. Du Yan’an, the Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, reported the centralized construction of the city's projects to the conference at the Bozhou branch venue. Deng Zhenxiao, the Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, Wang Yuxi, the Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, as well as Tang Yong, Chairman of the CPPCC attended the event. At the meeting, Du Yan’an made special arrangements for the city's Q2 economic operation, key project construction and investment promotion.
Since the beginning of this year, Bozhou has coordinated epidemic prevention and control together with economic and social development, and has continuously increased the efforts of "double recruitment and double introduction" to create a first-class business environment. The city has signed 67 new projects of attracting investment of more than 100 million yuan, with a total investment of 22.91 billion yuan. The first batch of 33 projects intensively started in January this year, with a total investment of 12.98 billion yuan, and the current operating rate is 100%.
The second batch of 70 projects started in Bozhou, with a total investment of 32.54 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 12.51 billion yuan. Among them, there are 41 manufacturing projects with a total investment of 18.5 billion yuan and an average investment of 4.23 million yuan per mu. Representative projects include: the first phase project of Huamei Intelligent Manufacturing Industry New City invested and constructed by Huaming Holdings (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd with total 3.5 billion yuan. It mainly builds mechanical processing workshops, hardware production workshops, electrical equipment manufacturing workshops and supporting infrastructures, etc. After the project is put into production, the annual output value is expected to be about 3 billion yuan. The Chery New Energy Automobile Industrial Park is invested and constructed by Chery Commercial Vehicles (Anhui) Co., Ltd with total 2.6 billion yuan. It mainly builds welding workshop, painting workshop, logistics distribution center, R&D center, power center, etc. After the project reaches production, the annual output value is expected to be about 2 billion yuan. The first phase of the Guohe River Mengcheng Port Construction Project is invested and constructed by Mengcheng County Chengtou Port Co., Ltd. It mainly builds 13 500-ton general-purpose berths and supporting facilities, with an annual designed throughput of about 9.3 million tons.
Du Yan’an emphasized that all levels and departments of the city should firmly build up the concept of "project is king", make overall plans for epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development, seize the current favorable opportunity, and actively adopt online investment promotion, cloud signing and other methods to focus on and go all out to do a good job in attracting investment and key project construction, ensuring that the contracted projects are launched early, the projects that have landed are started early, the projects that have been started are put into production early, and the projects put into production are put into production early, as well as strive to form more physical workloads to embrace the 20th Party Congress.
