Yesterday,egrets were feeding and playing in the fields of rice-shrimp farming in Xuemiao Village, Licang Town, Mengcheng County, Bozhou City.

In recent years, relying on the advantages of water resources in Cihuaixinhe river and Qianhe river, Licang Town, located in Mengcheng County, Bozhou City, has formulated a perfect ecological planning to make full use of the natural resource, vigorously developed rice-shrimp farming, aquaculture and lotus root planting, where water ecology and water environment have been effectively improved, which becomes a habitat for birds to feed and gather. And it gradually explores the road of green ecological development featured with “rice-shrimp farming, lotus and fish raising, water and agriculture mixing, agriculture and tourism developing together”, which has strongly promoted farmers’ income and rural revitalization.
