35 New “Sitting on the Ground” Urban Lounges in Bozhou

Recently, Bozhou has designated 35 new departments as the second batch of “sitting on the ground” urban lounge demonstration areas. As of now, there are a total of 49 departments named as “sitting on the ground” urban lounge demonstration areas in Bozhou.

Since 2022, Bozhou took the initiative to construct the “sitting on the ground” urban lounge demonstration areas, selecting parks, squares, scenic spots, and train stations as demonstration areas to enhance the city’s image and improve the living environment for its residents. It has implemented mechanization, intelligence, and standardization of environmental sanitation in these areas, optimized operation models and processes, introduced new equipment and technologies, and promoted deep cleaning to high standards. Bozhou has also established a comprehensive scientific evaluation system, aiming to create the “cleanest city” with comprehensive hygiene in public areas, no stains of city furniture, no garbage in the water, and clean roads, green space and green belt.
