Bozhou Civil Airport is named as "Bozhou Airport"

Recently, the Civil Aviation Administration of China officially approved the name "Bozhou Airport" for the newly-built Bozhou Civil Airport.

In addition to the jointly-built airport between the two cities, "Bozhou Airport" is the first and only civil aviation transportation airport in the country that does not use a secondary name and is directly named with a primary name. The Bozhou Civil Airport project covers an area of 2,340.8 mu, with a flight area grade index of 4C. It will feature a newly built runway measuring 2,600 meters in length and 8 parking stands, with a total investment of approximately 1.08 billion yuan. The terminal area is expected to be completed in January 2024, with the goal of achieving operational flights by the end of 2024. The flight routes are expected to be determined in the first half of next year.

After the opening of Bozhou Airport, the distance between time and space will be greatly shortened, forming the advantages of talent flow, industrial transfer, fast logistics, etc. It is of great significance to promote industrial development, enhance urban functions, improve the investment environment, and seize scarce resources.
