Bozhou city: A good start in implementing the 14th Five-Year plan

In the year of 2021, Bozhou's governments ensured sound epidemic prevention and control based on scientific analysis and socio-economic development. The governments focused on "Six-one Strategy", consolidated the work of maintaining stabilities in six fronts, and fully implemented the task of maintaining safeguards and guarantees on six areas, prompting the restoration of the economy and making a good start in implementing the 14th Five-Year plan.
According to Bozhou Statistics Bureau, results of calculation on regional gross domestic product show that GDP calculated by comparable prices in 2021 totaled 197.27 billion yuan, with a year-on-year 8.6% growth and a two-year average growth of 6.3%. The primary industry expanded 9.1% to 27.14 billion yuan, with a two-year average growth of 6%; the secondary industry reached 68.14 billion yuan, up 8.1% and with a two-year growth of 6.5 on average; the tertiary industry hit 101.99 billion yuan, seeing a year-on-year growth of 8.8% and a two-year average growth of 6.2%.
Agriculture production develops smoothly up. The 13.129million mu planting area harvested 5.146 million ton cereals, adding 94,000 tons compared with the last year, up 1.9% year on year. Cereals harvested in summer reached 3.183 million tons, increasing 23,000 tons compared with the last year, up 0.7% year on year. Cereals harvested in autumn totaled 1.963 million tons, expanding 71,000 tons, up 3.8% year on year.
The industrial product remained stable. The total value added of the industrial enterprises above the designated size was up by 7.5% year on year, adding 1.6 percentage point, with a two-year average growth of 6.7%.
Fixed assets investment kept rising. Investments on industrial entities increased 9.1%; investments on industrial technological innovation grew by 14.4%. Market sales continued to be up. Total retail sales of consumer goods reached 119.01 billion yuan, up 20% year on year, adding 17.4 percentage point, growing 11% on a two-year average. Seen by regions, the total retail sales of consumer goods added by 19.9 in town and 20.3% in countryside.
Fiscal income grew stably up. Revenue in the general public budget in Bozhou was 14.03 billion yuan, increasing 1.39 billion yuan against the previous year, up 11.0% in a year-on-year growth. The growth rate added 10.8 percentage point compared with the last year, 2.2 percentage point higher than that of the whole Anhui province. The end of December saw various deposit balances increase 34.58 billion yuan against the beginning of the year to 284.75 billion yuan in all financial institutions in Bozhou city, up 13.8% year on year, 3.2 percentage point higher than that of the whole province. Debt balances expanded 36.25 billion yuan against the start of 2021 to 274.29 billion yuan, up 15.2%, 2.3 percentage higher than that of the whole province.
Residents' incomes kept rising and CPI remained stable. Per capita disposable income of urban and rural residents was 24,481 yuan, up 9.9% year on year. Per capita disposable income of urban residents was 37,319 yuan, up 9.3%; in rural areas, the figure is 16,769 yuan, up 9.7% against the previous year. CPI rose 0.5% in Bozhou city. Prices of transportation and tele-communication, health care, clothing, housing, education and entertainment rose by 3.9%, 1.9%, 1.1%, 0.3% and 0.2% respectively. Prices of daily commodities and services, food, cigarettes and wine, and other consumption and services decreased by 0.1%, 0.5% and 3.9% respectively.
